Product Details
Brand: Rome SDS
New for the 2627 season, the Rome Men’s Viper snowboard is coiled and ready to strike. With a new shape featuring a Directional Diamond 3D nose to float through it all and the stability of a Directional Double Kick tail, the Men’s Viper is a tenacious all-mountain menace. Built for riders who want a one board solution for park laps or deep days, the Men’s Viper is a beast of a board loaded with modern tech for all-mountain mastery.
Rocker Type:
Fusion Camber: Positive camber with small pockets of rocker at the contact points; the modern go-to for versatile, all-mountain performance.
Flex:
Flex Rating: 6 (1 Playful - 10 Precise)
Shape:
Directional Twin: Boards with slightly longer noses than tails, that feature symmetrical camber profiles. Directional Twin boards are well-suited for riding switch and all-mountain marauding.
Directional Diamond 3D: Diamond 3D is designed for edge-catch-free riding and crazy float in powder. The Directional Diamond 3D is found only in the board's nose to help float in deep powder and crank long, smooth turns. Built for premium pow performance, while still being reliable on groomers.
Directional Double Kick: Rome took their press-happy Double Kick and gave it a directional treatment. The two-part rise provides stability in the tail for added power in deep snow and forgiveness when landing backseat.
Directional Tri-Radial Sidecut: Traditional tapered directional shapes typically lack snap and response, especially off the tail - this design provides performance, power, and stability throughout the entire turn without any compromise.
Core:
Bamboo Omega HotRods: Omegas are sleeves of carbon that are wrapped around the HotRods, forming the shape of the Greek Omega. Omegas provide additional lines of carbon-fueled pop and responsiveness to a board. Bamboo is the perfect blend of power and playfulness.
Base:
SinterStrong Base: Rome's versatile, low-maintenance, ride-it-all sintered base.
Binding Compatibility:
2 x 4 Insert Pattern
